As head chef, you will be in charge of our small but busy kitchen and will manage the quantity, quality and flow of production to deliver a consistently excellent standard of food & presentation. You will be entrusted with the flagship of the company will report to the managing director, working closely with them to achieve sales targets, grow the business, drive the menu forward and effectively manage seasonal changes.
You will be primarily responsible for maintaining excellent health and safety and food hygiene standards in the tea room (we currently have a 5 star rating), and will be required to provide and monitor all relevant staff training, due diligence and documentation around this. You will be expected to oversee the catering of allergen and dietary requirements, and have good working knowledge of the practices and precautions surrounding this.
You will provide strong leadership and motivation for the team and will be responsible for achieving our client's overall aims and objectives, leading by example to staff in respect of professionalism, conduct and efficiency. You will ensure the image of our client is positively projected at all times.
Great hours 9 - 3 Monday to Friday and 9 - 3 on Saturdays

- Assistant chef required with a minimum of an NVQ Level 2 qualification and 2 to 3 years on the job experience.
- Prepare, cook and present food to the company standards as instructed by the Head Chef.
- Ensure correct portion control as instructed by the Head Chef and assist in achieving the gross profit margins and ensuring systems are in place to support the profitability of all food areas.
- Ensure daily, weekly and monthly cleaning duties are carried out.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and be fully conversed in safe food hygiene practices.

As a Resourcer, it will be your job to support the principal Recruitment Consultant with certain tasks. This includes candidate name gathering, conducting in depth telephone interviews, candidate management, database maintenance and ensuring quality assurance compliance.
Daily tasks include:
- Source and select candidates
- Netwrok with and advertise to potential candidates
- Identify skills to match appropriately with vacancies
- Deal with general queries from existing candidates
